I just got back from a gig. Rowdy O’Reilly did a set at “Harvest Happenings” in Waterford, MI. The weather can be a real crap shoot in October, especially for Michigan. We lucked out. The weather was gorgeous – sunny, 70’s, breezy.
It’s a nice little event. There were food trucks, craft vendors, and pony & hay rides for the kids. All the people we interacted with, from the patrons to the volunteers to the main event planners, were really nice. The gal I talked to said it’s been an annual event for over forty years. I can see why. It’s a nice way to kiss the summer goodbye.
