If you had to change your name, what would your new name be?
I never thought about changing my name, but it reminds me of a story my dad told me many years ago.
He had a friend named Steve Shit. As you can imagine, Steve got tired of being ribbed about his name. One day, after he finally had enough, he went to the courthouse to officially change his name once and for all.
When he approached the judge, he explained his situation. The judge was sympathetic.
“I can see why you would want this done. What would you like your name changed to?“
“Jack,” replied Steve.
You think maybe my dad was pulling my leg? 😜
